The things people ask us first.
Who owns the domain?
Domains we register for you are held and managed by Net-smith as part of the service, so we can handle renewals and configuration and nothing lapses by accident. If you'd rather have it registered to your own organisation number, say so at the start and we'll set it up that way.
I already have a domain. Can you use it?
Yes. Send us access to wherever you bought it and we'll point it at the new site. A domain that's already yours stays yours — we don't move it.
Do I need to understand any of the technical side?
No. You tell us about your business and send us photos and text; we handle domains, hosting, email, and everything else. At launch we walk you through the few things you might want to change yourself.
What if I want changes after it's live?
Small changes — new opening hours, a price update, swapping a photo — are covered by the monthly upkeep. Bigger additions get quoted as their own small job, fixed price as always.
How do I pay?
Whatever suits you — Vipps, bank transfer, or PayPal. Payment terms are set out in the written quote before we start, and you get written confirmation of every payment for your records.
What if I don't like what you build?
You see a preview from the first day, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the end. Two rounds of revisions are included, and we don't ask for the final payment until you're happy with what's live.
